Accessibility statement

Fundacja Enabler wants everyone to be able to use its website comfortably — regardless of age, ability or the device they use. We are therefore committed to making fundacjaenabler.pl accessible, in line with the Polish Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities (which implements EU Directive 2016/2102).

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://fundacjaenabler.pl.

Compliance status

This website is partially compliant with the Act on digital accessibility, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.

What works well

We want the site to be easy to use for as many people as possible, so we have built in, among other things:

  • Text resizing — from the header you can enlarge the font size across the whole site (100 %, 115 % or 130 %) without breaking the layout.
  • High-contrast mode — a single click switches on a version with stronger contrast for text, links and borders.
  • Keyboard operation — you can move around the site without a mouse; menus, forms and the accessibility settings switch all work from the keyboard, and the focused element is clearly visible.
  • A "Skip to content" link — at the start of every page, letting you jump past the navigation straight to the main content.
  • Readable colour contrast — text and background colours meet WCAG AA requirements.
  • Responsive layout — the site adapts to phone, tablet and desktop, and the layout scales together with enlarged text.
  • Two languages — content is available in Polish and English, with the page language correctly marked up.

Content that is not fully accessible

Despite our efforts, the following limitations may occur:

  • some video material is embedded from third-party services (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook) and may not always include captions or audio description;
  • some PDF files and older downloadable documents may not be fully digitally accessible (e.g. missing text layer or structural tags);
  • some images imported from social media may not have a complete alternative text description.

We are progressively removing these limitations and improving the accessibility of the content we publish.
