New Year, New Partnership: Empowering Youth Workers in the AI Era
We are starting the New Year with exciting news: our foundation has become an official partner of the international "Digital Skills Development Project for Youth Workers in AI Era," implemented under the Erasmus+ program.
The project focuses on strengthening the competencies of youth workers so they can more effectively support young people in developing digital skills and fostering responsible, conscious, and safe behavior in the world of technology, including AI-based tools.
A key objective is to comprehensively prepare youth workers to conduct educational activities that complement formal schooling with high-quality non-formal education. Participants will gain both technical knowledge and pedagogical skills essential for working with young people in a rapidly changing digital environment.
The project aims to develop the digital competencies of youth workers, equip them with modern tools and methods, and strengthen their roles as mentors in the digital world. Special emphasis will be placed on promoting critical thinking, ethical technology use, and building a responsible approach to artificial intelligence among youth.
Through this project, youth workers will be prepared to design and implement educational programs tailored to the age, needs, and interests of participants, create safe spaces for group work, provide individual support, and evaluate the effectiveness of their activities. A crucial element is the emphasis on selecting digital tools and AI applications flexibly, considering the specific context, target group, and educational goals.
We are delighted to be part of an initiative that genuinely strengthens the skills of those working with youth and contributes to building a generation of conscious, responsible, and digitally competent young people. This is an important step in the further development of our educational activities and international cooperation.
