Project 'Echo of Relationships' on digital addiction prevention concluded
On October 15, 2026, the Enabler Foundation concluded its project, "Echo of Relationships. Prevention of Digital Addiction in the Era of Artificial Empathy." Over the past few months, the initiative has addressed the significant impact of new technologies, social media, and artificial intelligence on the emotions and relationships of young people.
The project was aimed at students in grades 6–8 from five primary schools in Reda, as well as teachers and educators. Its primary goal was to prevent digital, emotional, and behavioral addictions, while equipping youth with practical skills to navigate an increasingly digital reality safely and responsibly.
A key focus was the phenomenon of "artificial empathy," where AI systems mimic understanding and emotional support. Workshops covered topics such as digital addiction mechanisms, the influence of algorithms, online safety, social media pressure, and strategies for managing digital overload.
In addition to student workshops, the foundation conducted training for teachers on identifying early signs of digital addiction and implementing effective prevention methods within the school environment. The Enabler Foundation emphasizes that effective digital education is not about rejecting technology, but about learning to use its potential consciously while nurturing authentic human connections.
The foundation extends its gratitude to the school communities and the City of Reda for their cooperation and commitment to the project.
