Second day of educational mobility in Croatia: learning and new skills
The second day of educational mobility in Croatia brought Erasmus+ participants another round of intensive learning and practical exercises. The day's program focused on developing skills essential for daily life, such as study planning, habit building, smartphone usage, and identifying misinformation.
The activities began with a cultural session titled "Seven Kaštels," where participants explored the history of the Croatian town of Kaštela. This was followed by a workshop called "A Plan That Works," where they analyzed barriers to learning and developed realistic personal development goals. This topic was further explored during the "Habit Stronger Than Motivation" presentation, which emphasized the importance of consistency in acquiring new competencies.
The next part of the program was the "Phone as a Learning Assistant" workshop, where participants learned to use mobile devices for time management, setting reminders, and dictating text. A crucial element of the day was the block dedicated to information security. The "Seven Faces of Falsehood" workshop and an educational memory game helped participants better understand manipulation mechanisms and the importance of critical thinking.
The day concluded with a knowledge summary via a Kahoot quiz and the preparation of individual development plans for the next 30 days. Participants also took part in European education sessions, reviewing the history of continental integration. This mobility project is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program.
