What data we collect, why, and on what basis

Contact form

When you write to us through the contact form, we process the data you enter: name, e-mail address, subject and message.

  • Purpose: to reply to your message and correspond with you.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, given by sending the message) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in handling enquiries).
  • The contact form is operated for us by our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc. (see "Recipients of data" below), which stores the submitted messages on our behalf.

Technical data (server logs)

Our hosting provider may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of your visit.

  • Purpose: to ensure the security, correct operation and availability of the site.
  • Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Visit statistics

To count visits we use Umami, a tool that works without cookies and does not collect data that could identify you — the statistics are anonymous and aggregated. Details are in our Cookie policy.

Recipients of data

To run the site we use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf (processors):

  • Netlify, Inc. (USA) — website hosting and contact-form handling;
  • Koyeb (European Union) — hosting of the content management system (Strapi);
  • Gcore — delivery of image files via a content delivery network (CDN).

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States, so using the contact form and visiting the site may involve transferring data outside the EEA. Such transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep data

  • Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your matter, and then for the period during which related claims may be brought.
  • Technical data (logs) is kept for a short time, in line with our service provider's settings.

Your rights

In connection with the processing of your data, you have the right to: access your data, have it rectified, erased or its processing restricted, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland (uodo.gov.pl).

Providing your data is voluntary but necessary for us to be able to reply to your message.

Cookies

The rules for cookies and local storage are described in our separate Cookie policy.
