A.utism I.ntegration – developing AI-based educational tools to support the social integration of young people with cognitive disabilities.

Completed

Project description

Thanks to rapidly advancing technology, artificial intelligence opens up new possibilities for young people with a disability certificate, helping to increase their independence, their access to education and their quality of life.

Artificial intelligence can also spark peer integration among teenagers with cognitive disorders. Through this project, the partners want to help develop tools that support these processes and thereby contribute to the social inclusion of young people on the autism spectrum.

Project goal

Expected project results:

  • improved knowledge among 12 youth-sector trainers on using AI for the reintegration of young people with cognitive disabilities, through an exchange of experience during the mobility;
  • the social inclusion of 50 teenagers on the autism spectrum through their participation in developing the project result;
  • initiating lasting integration across divides;
  • the development of the “A.utism I.ntegration” collection of good practices for youth trainers, particularly those supporting the social integration of young people with special needs.

Forms of support

The project plans the following activities:

  • A.utism I.ntegration – a 6-day mobility for people working with young people with special educational needs, involving 12 youth trainers (6 from Fundacja Enabler and 6 from Crea360 SL).
  • A.utism I.ntegration – developing a handbook with guidelines on using AI in the social integration of young people with cognitive disabilities.
  • A.utism I.ntegration – workshops for young people as part of the scaling-up process.
